This is a blog about trips and mathematics. Or to be more precise about the mathematics I do while I travel and the reasons of mathematicians to do what they do. I will write my thoughts about mathematics, the things I see and what they lead me to think.
Most of the technical mathematics will be in algebraic geometry, in particular in birational and toric geometry since they are the fields I usually work on. However almost everything will be accessible to the lay man.
